The choice is yours. We realize that most clients already have cleaning supplies and basic cleaning equipment (vacuum, broom, and mop) in their home. Our fee is based on using your cleaning supplies. If there are supplies that you would prefer us to use (for wood floors for example) feel free to let us know and we can use any supplies you leave out for us. 

We do not provide:

Vacuum:

Conventional mop and bucket

Paper towel

Step stool

Toilet brush; or

Specialty products, including, but not limited to;

Heavy-duty bathroom cleaner;

Wood cleaner;

Bleach; or

Stainless steal cleaner

We are happy to use these items, if provided by you, and left out in clear view for our cleaners and accompanied by directions on their use.

Our cleaners bring a travel wet/dry mop that will be used on non-carpeted areas. If you do not have a vacuum, the cleaner will not be able to properly clean any carpeted areas.

We encourage it! Special instructions will enhance the cleaning experience you receive. However, it is very important you communicate any special instructions when you book your services online. This makes your notes available to any cleaner that may clean your home in the future, as well as a reminder for your regular cleaner.

We understand that most clients are not at home when we come to clean. We will make personal and confidential arrangements with you on how to gain access to your home. If we are unable to gain access to your house for a regularly scheduled cleaning, we must charge you a fee to compensate the cleaner for their loss of time and travel expenses. We understand that clients prefer to give us a key. Others leave us a key in a safe place each visit. Alarm systems can either be left off or you can give us entry/exit codes. By far, the most efficient and problem-free way for everyone is for you to give us a key and alarm codes. If you provide us a key, it is secured in a locked key storage device to which only The Cleaning Champs management have access. The key is issued to the cleaner on the day of your clean. The cleaner returns the key at the end of the day and management returns it to the secured container. In the unlikely event your key is lost, we’re even insured for key replacement and re-keying your locks. 

We don’t mind you being home, however, for us to efficiently clean your home it is best if you are not in the room your cleaner is currently working. It makes it a little more difficult to clean if we have to tiptoe around because you are enjoying your favorite TV show or not vacuum because you on a phone call.

The Cleaning Champs team is here to help. To allow us to be most efficient, it is helpful if you pick up toys, laundry, household items, and clutter before the cleaner arrives. This allows us to move through your home more quickly, which can lessen the cost. The cleaner will not know where your personal items belong and we prefer that they not go into your closets or drawers to put things away. Leave fresh linens out so we can change the bedding and towels. And put away any important documents and valuables.  No worries though, we’re ready to tackle the worst possible messes, and will neatly pile and arrange any items left on floors or furniture.

If you see a problem while the cleaner is in your home, you can call the office that will make immediate efforts to correct the problem.

The Cleaning Champs can be provide weekly, every two weeks, or monthly, depending on your cleaning needs. We also offer cleanings for special occasions, post-construction, move-in and move-out cleaning services.

Simply select the frequency of cleaning on our booking form, and we will set everything up from there. After you set up recurring service, we’ll be there like clockwork on the date and time you choose. We will send a reminder email or text message the day before so you will be expecting us.

If your cleaning falls on a holiday, we will speak to you in advance to make arrangements to clean your home on another day that same week.

If you don’t need your home cleaned for a particular week. Please note that you must cancel at least 48 hours prior to the start time of your booking, or a $45 cancellation fee will be incurred. To completely cancel all future bookings, please contact us.

Tips are always appreciated, but your cleaning service will always be great no matter what. The usual tip is around 10-20{5e80d069a815b0bca713e9eabda68a0b44a3dca1a40f7167bdfa1dba9dc1a627}. Please keep in mind that the only way to tip is with cash directly to your cleaner; we cannot accept tips online. Leave whatever you feel comfortable with – whether that be a few dollars or nothing at all. You can also leave a kind review on Yelp, Google, or Facebook. Our cleaners love hearing that their work is well appreciated!

Our cleaners offer consistent, quality home cleaning. Like in any relationship, however, miscommunications occur and we may make a mistake. That’s why we offer a Next Day cleaning guarantee, which means if you notify us within 24 hours, our cleaners will return to correct their mistake at no charge.

In the rare event that you are unsatisfied with your clean, we will offer you a re-clean at a time that suits you, free of charge.

We love pets. Our cleaners will work around them. The loud noise of the vacuum does occasionally cause a scare and in cases like that we’re always happy to accommodate special arrangements. If your dog/cat is aggressive in any way, we suggest leaving your pet outside or in a gated area to ensure the safety of our cleaners. If you are not home during our clean, we ask that you note how to handle the pet so the team is clear when entering the home.

While we are sensitive to last-minute schedule changes, we require 48-hours notice for all cancellations. Due to the high demand for our services, we charge a $45 cancellation fee for all appointments canceled after this 48-hour window. If a Cleaning Champ professional arrives at a scheduled cleaning appointment and is unable to gain access to your home, we are unable refund the charge for the appointment. You can cancel or reschedule your booking free of charge, provided you give at least 48 hours’ notice. Again, please note that you must cancel at least 48 hours prior to the start time of your booking, or a $45 cancellation fee will be incurred. Please do not inform your cleaner directly of any changes to your schedule- this must be done directly online. Please be sure to submit in writing (via email) any termination of regularly scheduled cleanings.

We provide a customized post-construction clean for these types of situations. Please contact us to coordinate this and receive pricing information.

We currently accept credit/debit cards VISA, MasterCard, AMEX, and Discover. Our online payments are handled by stripe, and are processed though a fully secure 256 bit SSL protocol. In addition, we have a full extended validation SSL security as well. Booking through The Cleaning Champs is safe and secure and we guarantee this. Any unauthorized charges that are made to your card as a result of doing business with us will be fully refunded. Unfortunately at this time we cannot accept cash or check payment.

We can’t do these in our standard flat rate service but you can simply book an hourly service and request those be focused on, with detailed instructions of what exactly needs to be done. And if you underestimate the time necessary, we can always schedule a second appointment to come back.

We understand it is a privilege to be in your home, and we are always careful. In the unlikely event that an object is damaged, please notify us within 48 hours of when the appointment is completed either by phone or e-mail. The Cleaning Champs has liability insurance. We can even send you a certificate validating our insurance.
